|Recommended: YesAn outstanding place to live — I am so glad that I live here - not only does my apartment feel like a condo and I have more space for the price I am paying, but the staff at the leasing office have been nothing but attentive to any issues or concerns I have had. It is located in a great area with easy access to shopping and other amenities. Would recommend to anyone
|Recommended: YesVery quiet, pet and family friendly — Very quiet, pet and family friendly
|Recommended: YesNice Community — Nice and quiet environment
|Recommended: YesProfessional staff, nice property and location — Conveniently located near major thoroughfares, property and grounds well maintained. Staff is helpful and efficient. The only downside is the lack of maintenance on fitness center equipment that should probably be replaced with newer models.
|Recommended: YesGood Family Apartment — The environment for kids is good. Surroundings are properly maintained. However the playground for kids is too small for the community. Maybe sometime soon add some more kids stuff.
The community is accessible to Downtown Crown area so immediate needs are just around the corner.
|Recommended: YesVery nice. Quiet even though many people have dogs of all sizes - very dog friendly — Clean, comfortable, and spacious. We have a loft unit and love it - so much natural light Tons of closet space . Grounds are well maintained.
|Recommended: YesIt's an affordable place to live with basic amenities — The staff is friendly and the apartments are good but do not expect it to be luxurious.
|Recommended: YesGreat community in great area — It's a great community that is very dog-friendly which is a relieving feature in this area. The staff is extremely personable, helpful, and overall genuine. Maintenance team is friendly and responsive.
Management gladly receives feedback and takes necessary action. They respect tenants privacy and boundaries.
Sometimes parking can be a challenge. The guest pass system is not ideal, but it will work. At times the community dumpsters do fill up, which becomes an issue.
Overall, I highly recommend this community for it's clean appearance, quality offerings, and helpful staff.
Thank you
|Recommended: YesA perfect community for us — I love everything about living at The Villages at Decoverly. The grounds are mature and established, well kept and quite beautiful. The amenities are superb the gym, the pools, the gas grills and other conveniences. Convenience to I-270 is a HUGE plus. So much and still relatively close to the beltway and rest of the area. I must mention that all of the staff, from the top down, have been super nice, professional, considerate and responsive to our needs. If I had to find SOMETHING negative, I could only say that the trash collection area is a bit inconvenient and requires more effort than I'm used to, but it's really not worth mentioning.
|Recommended: YesA beautiful, peaceful environment in an excellent location — We have lived here for a year now and have just renewed our lease another two years We love the apartment, the grounds property and neighborhood, the staff, the gym, the pools, the party room, the outdoor gas grills, and the convenience to I-270, the ICC, and terrific shopping and restaurants all around. It is relatively quiet, especially at night and on the weekends. Did I mention a GREAT staff It's really nice here at The Villages at Decoverly.
|Recommended: YesVery nice area, great location, and easy commute to wherever you need to go... — Pros
1 very attractive area, and the residents here are generally nice, and these apartments are very close to shopping entertainment restaurants
2 leasing office staff are very friendly and helpful, and for us have gone above and beyond in some cases
3 dog park is very communal, and dogs seem happy to have the space to run around
4 there is a car care area water hose vacuum , which is helpful
5 each unit has it's own washer dryer, which is a huge plus for me
6 there are garage and storage areas on site
7 maintenance is responsive, and makes an effort to get to you quickly
Cons
1 no energy efficiency windows doors seriously need to be replaced the electric bill is INSANE in the summer
2 more sound dampening is needed between apartments I can hear my neighbor very clearly especially in the bathrooms, the kitchen and laundry room NOTE I didn't know if more stars were bad or good in the ranking section, but I ranked Noise at a 5, and I meant it in a bad way
3 the carpet needs to be replaced with laminate in the main living areas it gets so filthy, so easily
4 the apartments overall just need to be updated flooring, cabinetry, HVAC, appliances, toilets, etc. , but are all still functional and usable as they are, just very old and worn NOTE they do have a couple of renovated apartments and they look very nice, so I was happy to see they are attempting to make updates
4 dog park really needs grass, wish there was dog wash station, there is also a major mosquito issue in the warmer months
|Recommended: YesNice community to live in Guest parking is a bit tricky but apart from that everything is good. — It was very pleasant living in here.
|Recommended: YesGood place to raise a child — Villages at Decoverly is a lovely community. The staff here is super nice and maintenance gets everything done in a timely manner. The only problem we have had is residents not picking up after their dogs. A one year old doesn't really know the difference between dog droppings and mud dirt.
|Recommended: YesI like the apartment. The grounds are well kept and the office staff is great to deal with. — I like the property. The office staff are great to deal with, especially Kathy I like the mail delivery notification and pick p is never a problem. Parking is not so great with the tag process they have in place but other than that, I like living here very much. Service requests are handled with no problems. I have only lived here for 5 months but my 1st impression is very good.
|Recommended: NoNice place — My apartment heat doesn't work in winter couple times and winter leaking from upstairs lots of time, but Maintenance is always fast to help you. The guest parking is unhappy thing. Sometimes I have friend visit me for dinner, just two hours I have to go to their parking website and register car, very annoying process. There is extra charge even you setup direct autopay from your banking accounts. The previous management never does that.
Unfortunately, where the community loses points is the new management since April 2013 , and that is in a big, big way. The front office staff is generally VERY nice, they will listen to you, and they usually try to help. It's just that they cause most of the issues that require you to need help to begin with. sending out water bills the day before the bills are due, and leaving residents no way to pay unless they pay online and incur the online payment convenience fee. Telling residents things like the new 3.00 convergent billing fees for the convenience of keeping water sewage and rent on one bill is not big deal though it's clearly a big enough deal that the rental agency can't possibly consider paying it.... Overall, cute place, but management needs some work.
